Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. AI-Assisted Communications

When a landlord or property operator uses Rentyn, tenants, residents, vendors, or staff may interact with AI-assisted systems by phone, SMS, email, or related channels. Rentyn may use AI to answer common questions, ask follow-up questions, collect maintenance details, classify urgency, summarize conversations, recommend routing, and draft responses.

Rentyn's mailing address is 265 rue Hymus, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 0G2, Canada. Rentyn serves customers in Canada and the United States.

2. Human Control

Rentyn follows account settings, landlord-approved rules, escalation paths, and configured workflows. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, and landlords remain responsible for final property operations decisions, approvals, tenant notices, repairs, vendor actions, legal decisions, and emergency procedures.

3. Recording and Transcription

Calls handled through Rentyn are recorded and may be transcribed. Recordings, transcripts, summaries, call metadata, SMS messages, and related notes may be stored and made available to authorized account users for property operations, support, quality, safety, and recordkeeping.

Landlords and property operators are responsible for giving any notices and obtaining any consents required by applicable call recording, wiretap, privacy, tenant-landlord, employment, and communications laws.

4. Emergencies

Rentyn is not a 911 service, emergency dispatch provider, medical service, fire service, police service, or guaranteed emergency response system. For immediate danger, life safety issues, fire, crime, medical emergencies, gas leaks, or similar urgent matters, contact local emergency services directly.

5. Privacy

Information processed through AI, calls, texts, recordings, and transcripts is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum.
